Roav is Anker's sub brand for car accesssories, the package comes in an orange and white exteria with an image showing the Roav SmartCharge Car kit.
Opening the package you can find user manual, a happy card and the product itself neatly sit inside. It is really small, a lot smaller than I anticipated, As it has so much feature built-in. There are two USB ports on it and a small screen below them, then three buttons for change frequency and pick up phone calls.
To use it just plug this in the car set a blank frequency and turn your car FM receiver to the same frequency, you now have one link working. Then, just download the Roav FM app on your smart phone and connect to bluetooth you can then play music through bluetooth on the phone and it gets transmitted onto car's stereo system. Not just playing music you can also use it as a handsfree kit, as you can take phone calls with it.
There is a few other features:
- play music in a USB thumb drive, but this needs to plug into the second port
- charging phones and tablets, very fast!
- AUX output for none-fm cars
- find cars location by using the smartphone app
There is one suggestion I would make, perhaps to add an USB logo on the second port as it takes USB drives to play music inside, I didn't know I had to plug into this one to get it working at first.
